I am an experienced photographer with over 20 years of experience in photographing corporate and PR events. I mainly work in London and the South East of England. Every corporate event photography and PR work brings new challenges. Camera shutter noise used to be one which used to be very distracting both for the speaker and audiences. I have therefore invested in quiet shutter cameras. They are almost silent and therefore I can shoot several images in a row without distracting anyone. Also, these cameras provide high-quality images even in very low light levels.
The other requirement is to work unobtrusively. This is where my 20 years of journalistic experience comes in handy. I have travelled all over Europe on photographic assignments (including a war zone) which has taught me to work unobtrusively. The challenge at corporate events is to get images of people in conversation unobtrusively.
